A San Francisco restaurant owner used a colander to defend himself against a knife-wielding woman. KTVU<\/p>\n
Azmi Murait asked the woman to leave his Shawarma Azmi restaurant on after he suspected she was doing drugs. KTVU<\/p>\n
\u201cShe came after me,\u201d Murait recalled. \u201cI said \u2018I don\u2019t have nothing, just stop.\u2019 The knife was there on the table.\u201d KTVU<\/p>\n
The woman hurled a tip jar at Murait, who was perched behind the register, before the scuffle spilled into the kitchen. KTVU<\/p>\n
\u201cShe came after me,\u201d Murait recalled. \u201cI said \u2018I don\u2019t have nothing, just stop.\u2019 The knife was there on the table.\u201d<\/p>\n
The footage captured the woman grabbing the huge blade and repeatedly swinging it at the owner as he tried to shield himself with a cardboard box. <\/p>\n
He then grabbed a metal colander as he attempted to dodge the knife. Murait\u00a0said he was eventually able to flee the restaurant and locked the maniac inside as he called cops. It was unclear how many times he was stabbed, but he miraculously escaped with only minor injuries.<\/p>\n
During the attack, the owner said he was only able to \u201cthink about my family.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAs you see on the video, with one second you can lose your life,\u201d he added. \u201cBut God can do something we cannot do.\u201d<\/p>\n

The woman, who hasn\u2019t been named publicly, was later taken into custody. <\/p>\n
