SAN ANTONIO – A teen is fighting for his life after being shot in the chest.<\/p>\n
Around 7:55 p.m. on Sunday, police were called to the scene of a reported shooting near the corner of Georges Farm and Heathers Farm on the Northeast Side.<\/p>\n
First responders said that when they arrived, they found a 13-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n
Police officers at the scene said that the teen and a friend were walking down the street when an armed suspect came out of nowhere and got into a fight with the victim.<\/p>\n
At some point during the fight, the victim was shot in the chest. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.<\/p>\n
