TUCSON, Ariz. (TNND) \u2014 The FBI announced on Sunday that a glove containing DNA was found 2 miles away from Nancy Guthrie, and appears to match those that were worn by a masked person outside her front entrance.<\/p>\n
The glove was found in a field beside a road and has been sent in for DNA testing. The FBI said it received preliminary test results on Saturday.<\/p>\n
This new development comes as the search for Nancy Guthrie approaches its third week. Authorities have previously said that a suspect has not yet been identified.<\/p>\n
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen at her Arizona residence on Jan. 31 and reported missing on Feb. 1. Police authorities say Guthrie\u2019s blood was found on the front porch. Alleged ransom notes were sent to news outlets; however, two payment deadlines have passed.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement expressed concern over Nancy Guthrie\u2019s health condition as she requires her daily medication. She reportedly has a pacemaker and deals with high blood pressure and heart issues, according to a sheriff\u2019s dispatcher audio on broadcastify.com.<\/p>\n
