During Monday\u2019s storm, the streets of Long Beach filled with water and flooded in some areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
De Leon didn\u2019t want to let that moment pass and decided he wanted to surf.<\/p>\n
\u201cI told my brother, I said \u2018Dude, put that truck in first gear, let\u2019s go,\u2019\u201d de Leon tells NBCLA.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The truck was slowly driving through residential streets as De Leon held onto a rope, surfing through the flooded streets.<\/p>\n
