(Feb.\u00a017, 2026) \u2013\u00a0U.S. Soccer announced today that Bay FC midfielder Claire Hutton has been named to\u00a0United States\u00a0Women\u2019s National Team roster for the upcoming 2026 SheBelieves Cup, scheduled for March 1 to March 7.\u00a0The annual invitational tournament will welcome Argentina, Canada, and Colombia stateside for its\u00a0eleventh edition with matches set to be played in Nashville, Tenn, Columbus, Ohio and Harrison, N.J.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hutton\u2019s\u00a0selection\u00a0is her second by the U.S. in 2026\u00a0after joining Emma Hayes\u2019 squad for friendlies against Paraguay and Chile in January. She appeared in both matches\u00a0during the January window,\u00a0making\u00a0history Jan. 24 at Dignity Health Sports Park\u00a0by\u00a0becoming\u00a0the youngest player to ever captain the USWNT\u00a0at just 20 years old.\u00a0Hutton\u00a0has earned 13 international caps since debuting at the senior level, scoring one goal vs. Canada July 2,\u00a02025\u00a0in friendly action.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hutton joined Bay FC last week in a historic transfer from the Kansas City Current.\u00a0Heralded as one of the\u00a0league\u2019s\u00a0top young players, she was named to the\u00a02025 NWSL Best XI First Team\u00a0and\u00a0earned a\u00a02025 NWSL Midfielder of the Year\u00a0nomination\u00a0in\u00a0her sophomore campaign. She is the third player to join the U.S. Women\u2019s National Team while active with Bay\u00a0FC; defender Alyssa Malonson\u00a0made her international debut in 2024 during the club\u2019s inaugural season, and goalkeeper Jordan\u00a0Silkowitz\u00a0earned a pair of senior selections\u00a0to Hayes squad alongside Hutton\u00a0in December and January.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Currently\u00a0ranked second in the world,\u00a0the United States will open the tournament vs. Argentina March 1\u00a0at 2 p.m. PT\u00a0in Nashville, before taking on northern rival Canada March 4\u00a0at 3:45 p.m. PT\u00a0in\u00a0Columbus,\u00a0and Colombia March 7\u00a0at 12:30 p.m. PT\u00a0in New Jersey.\u00a0All matches at the tournament will broadcast live in the United States on truTV, HBO Max, Universo and Peacock, and all three U.S. games will be available on the radio in English on Westwood One and in Spanish on\u00a0Futbol\u00a0de Primera.\u00a0<\/p>\n
