There’s nothing quite like a homecoming, and an apparel brand is making it a little extra special for one of its PGA Tour players at the 2026 Genesis Invitational<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jake Knapp, who grew up just outside Los Angeles, is embracing his Southern California roots with special scripting from Johnnie-O this week at Riviera Country Club<\/a> in Pacific Palisades.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Knapp will be repping his alma mater with the Johnnie-O UCLA Bruins Beau Striped Performance Polo<\/a>. He spent three seasons as a standout golfer at UCLA<\/a> before turning pro in 2016. Then on Friday, Knapp will support his hockey team with some officially-branded Anaheim Ducks gear<\/a>, including the Stetsons Striped Performance Mesh Polo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Knapp is off to an excellent start in 2026. He’s made the cut in all four events he’s played thus far and his worst finish is a T-11 at the Sony Open in Hawaii. He placed eighth at both the WM Phoenix Open and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, while recording a top-five at the Farmers Insurance Open.<\/p>\n

That said, it’s been nearly two full years since Knapp secured his first and only win on the PGA Tour \u2014 the 2024 Mexico Open<\/a> at Vidanta. Could this be the week he rejoins the winner’s circle? Time will tell, but one thing is for sure: He’ll be dressed for success.<\/p>\n
