(KBAK\/KBFX)  \u2014 The winter storm caused several crashes, leading to escorts and exit closures on Intstate 5 and Highway 58 Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Interstate 5:<\/p>\n<p>The California Highway Patrol Fort Tejon said officers finished escorting traffic on the northbound lanes of the I-5.<\/p>\n<p>The escorts came following a crash on Wednesday morning at around 5:41 a.m. between a semi-truck and a pickup truck on northbound I-5 in Gorman.<\/p>\n<p>CHP said as of 9:09 a.m., escorts were stopped.<\/p>\n<p>According to CHP, &#8220;Almost 90% of crashes in inclement weather are a result of driving too fast.
