BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Wind, rain and snow pretty much sums up Monday’s weather as the first in a series of winter storms moved through southcentral California.<\/p>\n
Kern County saw a break Tuesday morning, while the next weather system returned in the afternoon, and the rain began Tuesday night in Bakersfield.<\/p>\n
SEE ALSO: Winter storm targets South Valley, deserts and mountain towns with wind, rain and snow<\/a><\/p>\n Even colder air will be coming in with this second system diving out of the north Tuesday and that is when winds, rain and snow will be set to go into and through our region once again.<\/p>\n Chief Meteorologist Ilya Neyman said the Tuesday night to Wednesday morning timeframe is when we will be looking at the highest chance of major road slowdowns or even closures (like the Interstate 5 through the Grapevine – Lebec\/Gorman corridor and the Tehachapi Pass of Highway 58).<\/p>\n A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 10 PM Wednesday for the Frazier Mountain communities, Piute Walker Basin and Tehachapi.
