(KGET) \u2014 Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood said a social video creator \u201cwanted air time\u201d for a video about alleged rude experiences with a Bakersfield 911 dispatcher.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cNinety percent of TikTok is not correct,\u201d Youngblood said Thursday morning on 17 News at Sunrise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a class=\"link  yahoo-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/viral-tiktok-draws-attention-alleged-033537725.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:RELATED: Viral TikTok draws attention to alleged 911 operators in Bakersfield;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> RELATED: Viral TikTok draws attention to alleged 911 operators in Bakersfield <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cIf you want to make a complaint on any employee including dispatchers, there\u2019s a mechanism to do that. If you go through TikTok, probably your motives are not to complain, you just want some air time,\u201d Youngblood said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Natalia Mount went viral this past week after she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/viral-tiktok-draws-attention-alleged-033537725.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:posted a video on the social media platform TikTok;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">posted a video on the social media platform TikTok<\/a> alleging that when she called 911 she was connected with a rude dispatcher.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Many other Bakersfield residents also shared their experiences online of the alleged dispatcher whose identity remains unknown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Youngblood also discussed the ongoing investigation into Nancy Guthrie\u2019s disappearance, the Zack Scrivner case and a drug bust in Rosamond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">To watch the full segment, click the video player above.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
