<\/p>\n ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Golden Grizzlies earned their third and fourth wins in a row, with two decisive wins over Lourdes on Friday.<\/p>\n GAME 1<\/p>\n \nOakland defeated Lourdes University 8-3 IN their opening action of the day, using\u00a0a four-run fourth inning and a three-run sixth to secure the win.<\/p>\n Oakland secured an 8-3 victory over Lourdes. The game started quietly, with both teams scoreless through the first inning. In the bottom of the second, Autumn Liebhauser<\/a> put Oakland on the board with a solo home run to left field, giving the home team a 1-0 lead.<\/p>\n The fourth inning saw Oakland extend its lead significantly. With Brooklyn Wyczalek<\/a> and Taylor Carraway<\/a> on base, Alyssa Balcom<\/a> delivered a two-run double to center field. Alexa Kownacki<\/a> followed with a single, bringing in two more runs. By the end of the inning, Oakland led 5-0.\u00a0<\/p>\n In the sixth inning, after Lourdes scored two runs, Oakland responded. Carraway singled and was replaced by pinch runner Annabel Power<\/a>, who scored on a sacrifice fly by Storm Kentros<\/a>. Balcom doubled again, this time driving in Liebhauser.
