DELANO, Calif. (KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Intermittent lane closures are planned for Hwy. 155 in the City of Delano next week for the State Route 155 Rehab Project, according to the Department of Transportation (Caltrans).<\/p>\n
Starting Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, intermittent lane closures will go in effect due to utility relocation operations. <\/p>\n
Caltrans said those relocations will take place along State Route 155 between Fremont St. and Browning Rd. <\/p>\n
When the lane closures are in effect, Hwy. 155 will operate under one-way traffic control through the work zone. There will be flagging personnel present to guide drivers.<\/p>\n
The utility relocation operations are expected to be completed in April 2026, according to Caltrans.<\/p>\n
Closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.<\/p>\n
Businesses at this location will remain open during construction and access to driveways will be maintained.<\/p>\n
