The Golden Grizzlies managed to stay within striking distance throughout the game, with 32 points in the paint and a perfect 17-for-17 from the free-throw line. The Phoenix maintained its edge by making 10 three-pointers and capitalizing on 13 points off turnovers.<\/p>\n Junior Isaac Garrett<\/a> led the team with 17 points and recorded a double-double, collecting 10 boards. Senior Brody Robinson<\/a> added 16 points and contributed significantly with six converted free throws, dishing out six assists. Fifth-year Brett White II<\/a> scored 12 points, making five of his 10 field goal attempts, as fifth-year Tuburu Naivalurua<\/a> provided defensive support with two blocks and grabbed eight rebounds off the glass.<\/p>\n Oakland started the first half by establishing an early rhythm with fifth-year Michael Houge’s<\/a> and-one with a\u00a0jumper and made shot from the line, quickly gaining a three-point advantage. The home team effectively utilized the paint, scoring 20 points there and dominating the boards with 10 offensive rebounds. Garrett was a key contributor, notching multiple rebounds and a crucial steal at 16:51.\u00a0<\/p>\n Despite these efforts, the Phoenix countered with efficient shooting from beyond the arc, hitting six three-pointers and taking advantage of fast-break opportunities. The half remained competitive with three ties and lead changes. As the clock wound down, Green Bay managed to edge ahead with a last-second 3-pointer, concluding the first half with a five point\u00a0lead over the Golden Grizzlies.<\/p>\n OU opened the second half with a strong presence inside, accumulating 12 points in the paint and capitalizing on second-chance opportunities with 11 points. Naivalurua contributed significantly, converting free throws and securing crucial rebounds to bring back the ball for Oakland. Despite some turnovers, the Golden Grizzlies maintained competitive momentum, matching Green Bay point-for-point throughout the half.<\/p>\n The Phoenix kept pace with a balanced attack, but Oakland’s defensive efforts, including three blocks and solid rebounding, kept the game tight. The half concluded with both teams scoring 36 points, leaving the same five-point difference at halftime as the final deficit.<\/p>\n Oakland will stay in Rochester to host Milwaukee on Sunday, Feb. 22 at OU Credit Union O’rena.
