Details about the restaurant\u2019s menu, concept, or opening date remain under wraps for now.<\/p>\n<p>The winery itself has been on an upward trajectory since its first tasting room launched in Newcastle in May 2024. Founder Mike Fournier and his partners, longtime friends and neighboring property owners in Penryn, are also <a href=\"https:\/\/whatnow.com\/sacramento\/restaurants\/lecavalier-cellars-new-penryn-estate-to-feature-fine-dining-restaurant-amid-the-vines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">preparing to break ground<\/a> on Project 8 Winery in the rolling hills of historic Penryn.<\/p>\n<p>According to Lecavalier Cellars\u2019 website, the team\u2019s mission is built around an \u201centhusiasm for wine and a passion for innovation.\u201d \u201cAs neighbors sharing adjacent properties in Penryn, they saw the enormous potential in planting wine grapes that would reflect the local terroir while also highlighting the area\u2019s rich agricultural history,\u201d the site reads.<\/p>\n<p>While Sacramento\u2019s Lecavalier Winery and Kitchen remains in the planning stage, fans can expect a focus on wine-forward experiences, likely paired with seasonal, approachable dishes that complement the vineyard\u2019s offerings.
