Two Injured After Plane Make Emergency Landing in Park<\/p>\n
LONG BEACH, Calif. (Oct. 22, 2025) \u2014 A pedestrian at Heartwell Park in Long Beach was one of two injured when a small plane made an emergency crash landing Tuesday in the soccer fields. <\/p>\n
The plane reportedly landed hard into the park located at Woodruff Avenue and Carson Street around 4 p.m. on Oct. 21st, according to the Long Beach Fire Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n Paramedics responded and located the pilot still in the small aircraft that was resting on its belly with broken landing gear. However, the airplane\u2019s fuselage was intact. Meanwhile, a woman in her 40s who was at the park was struck by the plane or debris during the crash landing. <\/p>\n Firefighters removed the elderly man who was piloting the plane and transported him and the unidentified woman to a local hospital with moderate injuries, police said. <\/p>\n The NTSB and FAA will investigate the cause of the crash. <\/p>\n Legal Questions?
