According to Shams Charania of ESPN<\/a>, Kings are signing Killian Hayes<\/a> to a 10-day contract.<\/p>\n

Earlier this season, Hayes had an Exhibit 10 deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, although he didn’t appear in a single regular-season game for them.<\/p>\n

Hayes has appeared in nine G League games with the Cleveland Charge, where he averaged 24.6 points, 7.7 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game.<\/p>\n

The former No. 7 overall pick appeared in six games for the Brooklyn Nets last season, averaging 9.0 points and 5.2 assists in 27 minutes per game.<\/p>\n

Hayes was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 2020 and spent four seasons with the team before joining the Nets last season.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old French guard has struggled to find a consistent role in the NBA, largely due to his three-point shooting, with a career 28.1% shooting rate from beyond the arc over 216 NBA games.<\/p>\n
