THEY ARE, BUT IT IS A LITTLE BIT SLOW GOING, GIVEN HOW HEAVY EACH ONE OF THOSE LIQUID DETERGENT CANISTERS IS. SO THIS MORNING, AROUND 430, WE SAW THEM FINISH LOADING UP THEIR FIRST PALLET. AND SO FAR BETWEEN ABOUT 430. AND NOW WE SEE EIGHT PALLETS WORTH OF THESE LIQUID DETERGENT BOXES ALL PILED UP. AND IF YOU WALK WITH ME DOWN THIS WAY, YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE BIG RIG THAT CRASHED AND IS STILL ON ITS SIDE. AND THEY HAVE TO REMOVE ALL OF THIS DETERGENT BEFORE THEY CAN RIGHT THE TRUCK. IT GETS SLICK, TOO, WHEN THE DETERGENT HAS LEAKED OUT OF SOME OF THE CANISTERS AND IS ON THE ROADWAY. SO THEY\u2019RE TRYING TO CLEAR THE ROADWAY. THEY\u2019RE TRYING TO GET ALL THE DETERGENT OFFLOADED FROM THE BIG RIG. THEN THEY\u2019LL RIGHT THE BIG RIG AND THEN HOPEFULLY GET THIS OPEN PRETTY SOON. RIGHT NOW, FOR ANY DRIVERS IN THIS DIRECTION, IF YOU\u2019RE COMING OFF A FLORIN ROAD AND YOU\u2019RE TRYING TO REACH I-5 IN THE SOUTHBOUND DIRECTION AND YOU\u2019RE USING THE ONRAMP, IT\u2019S DOWN TO ONE LANE HERE IN THIS PART OF THE HIGHWAY. AND THEN ALSO THE FRONTAGE ROAD THAT RUNS PARALLEL TO I-5 PAST THIS LOCATION. THAT\u2019S SHUT DOWN RIGHT NOW. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE THE DIRT HERE AND THE GRASS, APPARENTLY THE BIG RIG, ACCORDING TO CHP, CAME OFF OF I-5 SOUTHBOUND, WENT THROUGH THE GRASS AND THEN ENDED UP ON ITS SIDE. I SHOULD NOTE THAT THE DRIVER, ACCORDING TO CHP, IS GOING TO BE OKAY, ALTHOUGH HE DID HAVE T\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

\t\tEditorial Standards \u24d8<\/a><\/p>\n \n\t\t\t\t\t\tCrews are cleaning up liquid detergent off a Sacramento freeway on-ramp after a big rig crashed and overturned.The big rig carrying a full load of detergent crashed on the on-ramp to southbound Interstate 5 at Florin Road. Traffic logs from the California Highway Patrol indicate the crash happened around 2:35 a.m.KCRA 3’s Melanie Wingo is at the scene and observed several pallets of detergent on the road, which is blocked due to the crash. CHP said the rig went off southbound I-5 and went through the grass before ending up on its side.Crews will have to remove all of the detergent and clean up a spill before uprighting the big rig.Crews told Wingo that the truck driver will be OK but had to go to a hospital for treatment.This is a developing story.
