The regular season is wrapping up and this past week had no shortage of shocking outcomes. The race for conference player of the year continues to be an intriguing one, with multiple players still in contention. Let\u2019s take a look at who stood out this past week.<\/p>\n
Offensive Player of the Week<\/p>\n
The junior guard had another spectacular week for the Rebels. In games against Air Force and Colorado State, Gibbs-Lawhorn averaged 26 points, while shooting over 60% from three-point range. Even more impressive, he only turned the ball over three times in two games. Gibbs-Lawhorn\u2019s elite scoring gives the Rebels a real chance when tournament play rolls around.<\/p>\n
Defensive Player of the Week<\/p>\n
The sophomore forward had a solid week on the defensive side of the ball for the Wolf Pack. Price averaged 10 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals and played a huge role in slowing the Aggies down in Nevada\u2019s upset victory over Utah State.<\/p>\n
Adrian Myers (San Jose State)<\/p>\n
The Mississippi State transfer had a huge week that featured a San Jose State upset win over Nevada and a road loss to Boise State. On the week, Myers averaged 22 points and 10.5 rebounds. It was the best week of Myers career and a solid week for San Jose State basketball.<\/p>\n
Wilson Jacques (Fresno State)<\/p>\n
The freshman center out of France had the best week of his young career for the Bulldogs. He averaged a double-double with 17.5 points and 11 rebounds in games against New Mexico and Wyoming.<\/p>\n
