A woman was barricaded inside her San Jose home on Monday in a standoff with police officers that lasted for hours, the Police Department said.<\/p>\n
The situation unfolded on Tillman Avenue near Park Avenue in the city\u2019s West San Carlos neighborhood at about 6:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
The San Jose Police Department said officers responded to a disturbance involving a woman threatening the reporting party and damaging multiple parked vehicles. When officers arrived, the woman went back inside her home and refused to comply with the officers\u2019 demands, police said.<\/p>\n
The suspect remained barricaded inside her home for hours as officers tried to de-escalate the situation.<\/p>\n
At about 12:15 p.m., the woman was taken into custody, police said. She was not identified, and police did not provide additional information about the case.<\/p>\n
