Students and teachers recognized for saving a Sacramento librarian\u2019s life<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTHE LAST ONE HAPPENED FEBRUARY 14TH, WHICH CLOSED THE SOUTH HAYWARD STATION. WELL, A QUICK ACTION BY SOME STUDENTS AND TEACHERS AT SACRAMENTO SCHOOL HELPED TO SAVE THE LIFE OF A LIBRARIAN, LIBRARIAN CARLY SHIVELY COLLAPSED LAST SUMMER. STUDENTS IMMEDIATELY ALERTED STAFF WHO CALLED 911 AND STARTED CPR. SACRAMENTO FIREFIGHTERS TOOK OVER WHEN THEY GOT THERE, AND THEY USED A DEFIBRILLATOR TO GET HER HEART PUMPING AGAIN, AND ON THE WAY TO THE HOSPITAL, CARLY\u2019S HEART STOPPED BEATING FOR A SECOND TIME. FIRST RESPONDERS GOT HER HEART GOING ONCE AGAIN, AND TODAY CARLY HAS MADE A FULL RECOVERY. FIREFIGHTERS SAY THEY HAVE NO DOUBT HER COWORKER SAVED HER LIFE, AND TODAY SHE WAS EMOTIONAL AS SHE THANKED ALL OF HER RESCUERS. A HUGE THANK YOU AND I WOULDN\u2019T BE HERE IF IT WASN\u2019T FOR THEM. SORRY. THAT\u2019S GOT TO BE A LOT TO TO TAKE IN. AND CARLY WAS VERY EMOTIONAL, AS YOU SAW THERE, TALKING ABOUT HER MEDICAL EMERGENCY. EVERYONE INVOLVED WAS RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR QUICK, LI\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
