California Gov. Gavin Newsom said he is \u201cbanning\u201d Kid Rock from the state<\/a> for the \u201ccreepy\u201d workout video the MAGA musician appeared in last week with Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/p>\n

Kennedy and Kid Rock appeared shirtless in the 90-second workout video <\/a>to promote the \u201cMake America Healthy Again\u201d agenda. They did pushups in what appeared to be a sauna and at one point, Kid Rock flipped the middle finger<\/a> to the camera.<\/p>\n

The 72-year-old Health Secretary completed the workout<\/a> wearing a pair of jeans, which he wore while he plunged himself into a tub.<\/p>\n

For Newsom, the shirtless workout crossed a line.<\/p>\n

NOT WHAT YOU WANT AROUND OUR CHILDREN!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Independent has contacted representatives of Kid Rock and the Department of Health and Human Services for comment.<\/p>\n

Kennedy and Kid Rock were widely mocked for the workout on social media, which even had panelists on Fox News\u2019 The Five scratching their heads over the bizarre episode.<\/p>\n

Fox News military analyst Johnny Jones pointed out that Kennedy wore blue jeans throughout his entire workout.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, somebody needs to tell RFK Jr. it\u2019s OK to wear shorts. I mean, bro, don\u2019t be upset about your legs,\u201d said Jones. \u201cI don\u2019t care what they look like. Take it from me, nobody needs impressive legs. You look great with your shirt off. Throw the shorts on so we don\u2019t all go, \u2018Wow, that\u2019s weird.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Kennedy previously said that he started wearing jeans to the gym because it was \u201cconvenient,\u201d and now he\u2019s \u201cused to it.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kid Rock faced another setback earlier this month when his Rock the Country festival, labeled a \u201cMAGA fest,\u201d was forced to cancel a stop in South Carolina<\/a> after a number of artists dropped off the bill.<\/p>\n

The multi-city festival, which was set to play in Anderson, South Carolina, on the weekend of July 25, announced it was canceling the event after several performers, including rock band Shinedown, pulled out of the show.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"California Gov.
