Sacramento police said officers responded to the campus Tuesday morning after a person entered school grounds and caused a disturbance before leaving.<\/p>\n<p>                Lezlie Sterling<\/p>\n<p>            Sacramento Bee file<\/p>\n<p>A person who entered the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/miwok.scusd.edu\/\">campus of Miwok Middle School in East Sacramento<\/a> caused a disturbance Tuesday morning before leaving prior to officers\u2019 arrival, Sacramento police said.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded just after 9:30 a.m. to the 3100 block of I Street after receiving reports that a subject had come onto campus and disrupted staff and students, according to the Sacramento Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>No injuries were reported and instruction continued without interruption.<\/p>\n<p>The person left before police arrived. Officers investigated and are preparing a report, a spokesperson for the department said.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses described the person as behaving erratically, and police said they were not aware of any connection between the individual and the school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Miwok Middle School in East Sacramento is shown during a March 30, 2024, mural unveiling ceremony.
