Blacc Sam, as Nipsey Hussle\u2019s business<\/a> partner, revealed that his late brother\u2019s children, Emani Asghedom and Kross Asghedom, would become owners of the clothing store.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I say we own it, it\u2019s in Hussle\u2019s kids\u2019 names, in their trust fund,\u201d Blacc Sam told Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings, hosts of the \u201cEarn Your Leisure\u201d podcast. \u201cWhen they get older, this is something their father worked for, and that they own, and that\u2019s important to me. Also, just having a brick-and-mortar once again reinforced what Hussle told us and taught us.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cJust through the ups and downs of you know of whatever with business or brands, whether your shi-t boomin\u2019 online and slows down, just having that brick-and-mortar and being able to pass it down through the family, I think is important.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n On Melrose Avenue, half a mile from that clothing store, exists another venture called Marathon Burger, Eater Los Angeles reported.<\/a> It serves wings, Wagyu beef burgers, and shakes. It also offers vegan-friendly options, including a plant-based burger, a portobello mushroom burger, and a grilled vegetable salad, as AFROTECH\u2122<\/a> previously reported.<\/p>\n Blacc Sam manages the businesses and is, at times, hands-on in the kitchen, he shared<\/a> with CBS News. He was inspired to open the business because he would cook in the kitchen with Nipsey Hussle during their childhood.<\/p>\n \u201cI think [the] Marathon brand, created by Hussle, was kind of like to inspire and to just motivate, and it just means to keep going,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cIt\u2019s not a race, it\u2019s a pace, do it on your own. \u2026 Anything that we can continue doing in that spirit is always a blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n Marathon Burger started as a pop-up in 2024 and expanded to locations<\/a> on Melrose Avenue, Venice Beach, and Canoga Park in the Los Angeles area. Now, it is adding another location in Long Beach, CA, with a grand opening scheduled for March 1, according to information shared<\/a> on its Instagram.<\/p>\n The expansion is made possible through a partnership<\/a> between Blacc Sam and the Broadus family, which includes Snoop Dogg<\/a> and Cordell Broadus.<\/a><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-24-at-7.48.33-AM.png\")
