Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department seized an estimated $1.5\u00a0million\u00a0in stolen property inside a\u00a0sprawling\u00a0warehouse in Ontario\u00a0earlier this month, officials announced.<\/p>\n

Members of LASD\u2019s Major Crimes Bureau and Cargo Criminal Apprehension teams searched the facility\u00a0on Feb. 18 as part of an investigation into cargo theft in Ontario, officials said in a\u00a0news release<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Detectives, who said the investigation\u00a0remains\u00a0ongoing, did not\u00a0disclose\u00a0the whereabouts of the warehouse, nor was any information provided on how the location came to the attention of law enforcement.<\/p>\n

Inside the facility, investigators recovered the following stolen merchandise:<\/p>\n

22 pallets of First Tactical clothing, manufactured in Modesto, valued at approximately $1.2 million<\/p>\n

21 pallets of Fisher-Price toys stolen from Amazon valued at approximately $250,000<\/p>\n

9 pallets of Amazon mixed freight valued at approximately $100,000<\/p>\n

No arrests were made during the recovery of the stolen property, officials said.<\/p>\n
