OCVibe, the\u00a0$4 billion\u00a0mixed-use development\u00a0underway in\u00a0Anaheim, is partnering with\u00a0audiovisual firm\u00a0Daktronics to install\u00a0a\u00a0$25 million\u00a0fully integrated digital display system that will power large-scale\u00a0LED screens\u00a0across\u00a0the 100-acre campus.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
This includes a\u00a0network of\u00a020,000 square feet\u00a0of high-impact LED video displays\u00a0in various public spaces at\u00a0OCVibe\u00a0such as parking structures, parks, plazas\u00a0and the\u00a0upcoming food hall, Katella Commons.\u00a0Daktronics has been a partner\u00a0at\u00a0the Honda Center for more than two decades.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
A key display will be at the Urban Park which will have a media screen measuring 36-feet-high by 126-feet-wide, wider than a Boeing 737\u2019s wingspan, according to\u00a0OCVibe. Another 32.5-foot-high by\u00a0126-foot-wide marquee will span the Katella and Cerritos parking garages.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Urban Park\u2019s integrated display technology allows us to support everything from large fan gatherings to curated outdoor entertainment and seasonal markets, all within a highly visible and connected environment,\u201d Vice President of Special\u00a0Events Katie\u00a0Pederson said in a statement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
