Disneyland will close eight attractions for seasonal refurbishments heading into the annual Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure and the busy spring break season at the Anaheim theme parks.<\/p>\n

The Disneyland Monorail, Roger Rabbit\u2019s Car Toon Spin, Golden Zephyr, Pirate\u2019s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, Sailing Ship Columbia, Davy Crockett\u2019s Explorer Canoes, Pixie Hollow and \u201cFantasmic\u201d will temporarily close in March as part of the standard refurbishment schedule at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.<\/p>\n

The eight new attraction closures join the Jungle Cruise, Grizzly River Run and Jumpin\u2019 Jellyfish that were already shuttered for refurbishment.<\/p>\n

The Disney Food & Wine Festival<\/a> kicks off on March 6 and runs through April 27 at Disney California Adventure with local, celebrity and Disney chefs offering cooking tips during culinary demonstrations, tasting seminars and signature events.<\/p>\n

The Golden Zephyr ride with six spinning rocketships in DCA\u2019s Paradise Gardens will be closed March 9-17 for a brief seasonal refurbishment.<\/p>\n

The Disneyland Monorail that travels between Tomorrowland and Downtown Disney and Roger Rabbit\u2019s Car Toon Spin dark ride in Mickey\u2019s Toontown at Disneyland will both close on March 30 for seasonal refurbishments with no reopening dates yet set.<\/p>\n

Traffic on the Rivers of America at Disneyland will be disrupted with the Sailing Ship Columbia and the Davy Crockett\u2019s Explorer Canoes out of commission in March. The Columbia will be out of service March 2-6. The human-powered canoes will be closed March 2-5.<\/p>\n

Pirate\u2019s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island in the middle of the Rivers of America will also be closed March 2-5 for seasonal refurbishment.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFantasmic\u201d nighttime spectacular on Disneyland\u2019s Rivers of America will be dark March 1-5, March 8-12, March 15-19 and March 23-26.<\/p>\n

Pixie Hollow in Fantasyland will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays in March (March 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 and 31) after the Disneyland character meet-and-greet area was recently shuttered for a 10-month refurbishment.<\/p>\n

The Jumpin\u2019 Jellyfish parachute ride in the Paradise Gardens themed land at Disney California Adventure that closed for an 11-day refurbishment will return on March 6.<\/p>\n

The Jungle Cruise boat ride in Adventureland at Disneyland that closed in mid-February for seasonal refurbishment will remain closed through at least early April.<\/p>\n
