Jenkins said Tuesday that her office will rely heavily on surveillance videos to contradict Alatini\u2019s self-defense claims.<\/p>\n
She also noted what will likely be the DA\u2019s argument: that the victim turned away to leave the scene.<\/p>\n
\u201cGiven that he was shot in the back, that is additional information that we take into account,\u201d Jenkins said.<\/p>\n
The court was expected to decide whether to set bail for Alatini Wednesday afternoon. Currently, he is set to return to court next week for a custody status hearing.
