Anaheim<\/a>‘s game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn’t let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Westminster Lions<\/a> 18-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Colonists considering their one-run performance the contest before.<\/p>\n

Chloe Tabita<\/a> was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Tabita was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That’s the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025.<\/p>\n

In other batting news, Anaheim let Mak Acosta<\/a> and Valerie Florido<\/a> run wild. Acosta went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI, while Florido went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That’s the most runs Florido has posted since back in February of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenelle Monzon<\/a>, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.<\/p>\n

The win got Anaheim back to even at 1-1.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, Anaheim will be playing in front of their home fans against Buena Park at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westminster, they will face off against Santiago at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.<\/p>\n
