Saint Joseph<\/a> put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Anaheim Colonists<\/a>. Eight seems to be a good number for the Jesters as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.<\/p>\n Nicole Bergman<\/a> spent all seven innings on the mound, and it’s clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up six Ks.<\/p>\n At the plate, Saint Joseph got a massive performance out of Jaclyn Brennan<\/a>, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariah Becerra<\/a>, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.<\/p>\n Saint Joseph was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Anaheim only posted a batting average of .174.<\/p>\n Saint Joseph’s victory bumped their record up to 3-0.<\/p>\n Coming up, Saint Joseph will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Katella at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Anaheim, they have already played their next contest, an 18-2 win against Westminster on the 25th.<\/p>\n
