{"id":195823,"date":"2026-02-27T02:31:13","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T02:31:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/195823\/"},"modified":"2026-02-27T02:31:13","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T02:31:13","slug":"how-49ers-fared-in-2025-26-nflpa-survey-of-players-nbc-sports-bay-area-california","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/195823\/","title":{"rendered":"How 49ers fared in 2025-26 NFLPA survey of players \u2013 NBC Sports Bay Area &#038; California"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>INDIANAPOLIS \u2014 Each season, the NFLPA calculates grades of every NFL franchise based on surveys completed by players.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Graded categories range from how players&#8217; families are treated to the training rooms where rehabilitation and recovery take place.<\/p>\n<p>NBC Sports Bay Area obtained the results for the San Francisco 49ers:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Treatment of families: B<br \/>Home game field: A-<br \/>Team travel: C+<br \/>Food\/dining area: A<br \/>Nutritionist\/dietician: B+\u00a0<br \/>Locker room: B<br \/>Training room: C-<br \/>Training Staff: C-<br \/>Weight Room: A<br \/>Strength Coaches: A<br \/>Position Coaches: A-<br \/>Offensive Coordinator: A-<br \/>Defensive Coordinator: A<br \/>Special Teams Coordinator: B+<br \/>Head Coach: A-<br \/>General Manager: A-<br \/>Team Ownership: A-\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/48045244\/source-dolphins-rank-first-steelers-worst-nflpa-survey\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ESPN had further information<\/a> regarding the fourth survey, which polled 1,759 players, including noting that the Miami Dolphins received the highest grades, while the Pittsburgh Steelers were ranked at the very bottom.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 49ers&#8217; grades show high marks in several categories but room for improvement in a few areas, including the training room and training staff, which both received <a href=\"https:\/\/nflpa.com\/report-cards\/2025\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">higher marks after the 2024 season<\/a>:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Treatment of families: B+<br \/>Food\/dining area: A<br \/>Nutritionist\/dietician: B+<br \/>Locker room: B<br \/>Training room: B-<br \/>Training staff: B-<br \/>Weight room: A-<br \/>Strength coaches: A<br \/>Team travel: A-<br \/>Head coach: A<br \/>Team ownership: A-<\/p>\n<p>The NFLPA had previously made the survey results public, but the league filed a grievance in November and won, forcing the union to keep the results private.
