{"id":196418,"date":"2026-02-27T12:20:44","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T12:20:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/196418\/"},"modified":"2026-02-27T12:20:44","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T12:20:44","slug":"data-center-titan-grabs-san-jose-office-and-commercial-buildings-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/196418\/","title":{"rendered":"Data center titan grabs San Jose office and commercial buildings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN JOSE \u2014 A major <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equinix.com\/about\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">provider of data centers<\/a> bought several buildings in South San Jose in a deal that suggests the tech industry\u2019s hunt for access to hubs for massive computer processing has yet to run its course.<\/p>\n<p>Through an affiliate, Equinix paid $51 million for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2020\/07\/06\/big-investor-grabs-south-san-jose-office-buildings-land-commercial-real-estate-tech\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">six buildings<\/a> at 6800 Santa Teresa Blvd., 140 Great Oaks Blvd., and 6541 Via Del Oro, documents filed on Feb. 24 with the Santa Clara County Recorder\u2019s Office show.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy Wilson, a real estate investment firm, was the seller in the deal.
