A PEDESTRIAN was fatally injured in Westminster (Shutterstock).<\/p>\n

A traffic collision between an automobile and a pedestrian last Tuesday night took the life of a person in Westminster.<\/p>\n

According to Commander William Drinnin of the WPD, police received a call about the fatal collision at approximately 11 p.m. The location was in the area of Bolsa Chica Road south of Garden Grove Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officers. The identity of the deceased is withheld pending notification of next of kin.<\/p>\n

A comprehensive investigation followed and \u201cdriving under the influence\u201d doesn\u2019t appear to be a factor, according to Commander Drinnin.<\/p>\n
