MILPITAS, CA \u2014 Police helped rescue several people from a burning building in Milpitas, including a 3-year-old and a small dog that were thrown from an apartment balcony, video released this week shows. <\/p>\n
At around 3:13 p.m. on Saturday, the Milpitas Police Department received a call that residents were trapped inside a burning apartment near the 550 block of S. Park Victoria Drive.<\/p>\n
Flames spread through the building, forcing residents to escape onto a second-story patio. Officers arrived to find the apartment fully engulfed in flames and a panicked family. They urged a woman to throw down her toddler to them. The tense bodycam video <\/a>shows an officer with arms outstretched, shouting, “Where’s the Baby? Throw her.
