STUDENTS AT PS7 MIDDLE SCHOOL GOT A SPECIAL COOKING DEMONSTRATION FROM A LOCAL CHEF. ON TOP OF LEARNING HOW THE FOOD IS MADE, STUDENTS GOT TO HEAR HOW HE GOT INTO COOKING, A CHANCE FOR THEM TO REFLECT ON THEIR DREAMS AND CAREER ASPIRATIONS. I WAS BLESSED TO, AT 17 YEARS OLD, I FOUND WHAT I LOVE TO DO AND I JUST STUCK WITH IT. AND I THINK A LOT OF TIMES PEOPLE HAVE A HARD TIME PURSUING THE THING THAT THEY LOVE BECAUSE THEY’RE AFRAID THAT THE MARKET, MEANING THE GENERAL POPULATION, WON’T APPRECIATE IT. WHAT I FOUND IS, IS THAT YOUR GIFTS WILL MAKE ROOM FOR THEMSELVES. AND SO WHETHER PEOPLE WHETHER YOU THINK PEOPLE WILL ACCEPT IT OR NOT, YOU JUST DO IT. AND THEN IT FULFILLS YOU. SAINT HOPE PUBLIC SCHOOLS HAS HOSTED SEVERAL OTHER EVENTS AT IT
