(Photo by Chris Coduto\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n Before Sunday\u2019s game, the Lakers announced that they had recalled Bronny from the G League.<\/p>\n He will be active for their showdown with Sacramento.<\/p>\n Trevor Lane of Lakers Nation wrote:<\/a> \u201cThe Los Angeles Lakers have recalled guard Bronny James Jr. and forward Adou Thiero<\/a> from the South Bay Lakers.\u201d<\/p>\n GettyLOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA \u2013 DECEMBER 28: Bronny James #9 of the Los Angeles Lakers in action against the Sacramento Kings at Crypto.com Arena on December 28, 2025 in Los Angeles, California.\u00a0 (Photo by Luke Hales\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n Bronny is averaging 2.2 points and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 40.0% from the field and 40.7% from three-point range in 29 NBA<\/a> games this season.<\/p>\n The former USC star was selected with the 55th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft after one year of college basketball.<\/p>\n He is in his second year as a pro.<\/p>\n NBA G league wrote (on February 25):<\/a> \u201cBronny James recorded a new season-high, 21 points this afternoon in the @SouthBayLakers win over the Valley Suns.
