Jack Crabtree said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting and any suspect information were all under investigation on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting took place about half a block from the new Long Beach location of Marathon Burger, at 245 Pine Ave., No. 110, according to CBS Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>Crowds gathered hours earlier to celebrate the restaurant\u2019s grand opening, with a ribbon-cutting by Snoop Dogg, who helped bring the well-known Los Angeles fast food chain to Long Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Marathon Burger was founded by the late rapper Nipsey Hussle and his family. The restaurant was built in partnership with Snoop Dogg.<\/p>\n<p>Casey Parker, a business partner with the restaurant company, said the commotion happened while a block party was underway, but to his knowledge it was unrelated to the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailynews.com\/2019\/04\/02\/rapper-nipsey-hussle-was-killed-over-a-personal-dispute-lapd-chief-says\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hustle, born Ermias Asghedom, was fatally shot in the head and body<\/a> on W. Slauson Avenue in Los Angeles\u00a0 in 2019 as he stood with two other men in the parking lot in front of the clothing store and several other businesses he owned.<\/p>\n<p>His killer, Eric R.
