The Lewis Group of Companies celebrated the opening of community hub The Farmhouse, which serves the Liberty at Lincoln development in the city\u2019s southwest area near Ferrari Ranch Road and Liberty Parkway.<\/p>\n

A new neighborhood in Lincoln marked a milestone Friday with the grand opening of its community hub, the Farmhouse.<\/p>\n

The Lewis Group of Companies hosted local leaders to celebrate the opening of the nearly 7,000-square-foot center, which serves the Liberty at Lincoln development in the city\u2019s southwest area near Ferrari Ranch Road and Liberty Parkway.<\/p>\n

The Farmhouse includes a beach-entry pool, pickleball courts, a basketball half court, play structures, an outdoor entertainment area, a community gym, a business center and a dog park.<\/p>\n

Richard Lewis, president of Lewis Planned Communities, called the opening an important milestone for both Liberty and the suburban Placer County city.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe couldn\u2019t be more excited about the community support and impact we\u2019re making together here in Lincoln,\u201d Lewis said.<\/p>\n

This is Lewis Planned Communities\u2019 second project in Lincoln, according to its website. Independence, on the west side of the city, has 575 homes, three community parks and walking trails. The master planning group has another Placer County community in Rocklin called Sierra Pine, which has 199 homes.<\/p>\n

According to a news release, the developer has already invested $100 million in infrastructure and other improvements for the Liberty project.<\/p>\n

The master-planned community is expected to include 3,500 homes with an estimated total value of $1.7 billion. Homes will range from 1,933 to 3,030 square feet and are priced from $554,990 to $732,000.<\/p>\n

The neighborhood will have three builders: Woodside Homes, Richmond American Homes and Meritage Homes. The build-out is expected to take 10 to 12 years.<\/p>\n

Plans for the community also include a trail system, parks and a TK-8 school in partnership with the Western Placer Unified School District.<\/p>\n
