{"id":200591,"date":"2026-03-02T14:57:39","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T14:57:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/200591\/"},"modified":"2026-03-02T14:57:39","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T14:57:39","slug":"man-fatally-shot-in-south-natomas-identified-by-coroners-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/200591\/","title":{"rendered":"Man fatally shot in South Natomas identified by coroner\u2019s office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">(FOX40.COM) \u2014 The man who was shot and killed in South Natomas last month has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner\u2019s Office as Teon Darmone Lott, 32, of Sacramento.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to the Sacramento Police Department, on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/27-old-arrested-connection-fatal-052842178.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Friday;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Friday<\/a>, 27-year-old Ray Howard was arrested on homicide and firearm-related charges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a class=\"link  yahoo-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/3-men-found-dead-inside-045748625.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:3 men found dead inside vehicle in San Joaquin County;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> 3 men found dead inside vehicle in San Joaquin County <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sacramento police said Howard has since been booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">On Feb. 20, Sacramento police had responded to reports of a shooting at 9 p.m. on the 1500 block of West El Camino Avenue, where they found Lott injured from a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">SPD reported that Lott was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">At this time, police have not released information on what led to the shooting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
