The San Jose Sharks will host two\u00a0celebration\u00a0nights at SAP Center this weekend, celebrating culture, community, and the impact of women in sports across the Bay Area.\u00a0<\/p>\n
South Asian Culture Celebration\u00a0<\/p>\n
Friday vs. St. Louis Blues\u00a0–\u00a07 p.m.\u00a0–\u00a0SAP Center,\u00a0San Jose\u00a0<\/p>\n
On Friday evening,\u00a0March 6,\u00a0the Sharks will highlight and celebrate the vibrant South Asian community throughout the Bay Area during the team\u2019s South Asian Culture Celebration game.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Local Bay Area artist Muneeba Zeeshan has created a custom Sharks logo inspired by South Asian art and culture. The logo will be featured prominently throughout SAP Center and displayed along Barack Obama Blvd., across from the arena\u2019s Lot D, welcoming fans to the celebration.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Fans can enjoy a variety of activities and community activations throughout the concourse, including\u00a0a\u00a0South Asian Culture Celebration Friendship Bracelet Making Station\u00a0along with\u00a0the Association of Indo Americans table.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Intermission will feature a live performance from\u00a0Bhangra\u00a0Empire, bringing high-energy dance and music to\u00a0the concourse during both intermissions and pre-game!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
