FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The small workshop at Vincent and Allyson Wall’s home is doing big numbers.

“We just print non-stop and give them away,” Vincent said.

It’s here where the 3D Printing Elves really get their name.

They create boxes full of tiny dragons, turtles and octopus – just to name a few.

All of them are given away to children, mostly in Fresno and Madera County.

“We try to focus on the more socially economically disadvantaged children,” the Walls explained.

The couple started printing during COVID.

“I wanted a printer to play with. She wanted me to print things around the house that she could use,” Vincent said. “And then I got bored,” Allyson added.

So, they began printing toys for their children’s classes.

Then the whole school.

From there, they made toys to donate to Toys for Tots, but they wanted to do more year-round.

So, in 2024, they officially became a nonprofit known as the 3D Printing Elves.

They accept requests for toys online.

Their three sons ages 24, 10 and 8 do quality control.

“If they can break it, we won’t make it, or if they say, this isn’t cool,” Allyson explained.

Annually, they’ve been making about 16,000 toys.

Recently, demand skyrocketed when a Fresno Unified teacher, Bailey Parks, shared a glowing review of her experience on TikTok.

“If you’re an educator in the Central Valley, you need to listen up because this is an awesome free resource,” Parks said in her video.

The video quickly racked up more than 40,000 views, and their inbox quickly filled up.

“In four days, the requests have been for over 50,000 toys,” Allyson explained.

The majority of requests are looking for sensory regulation supports for students with autism, ADHD, anxiety and other focus challenges.

The Walls hope to fulfill every order, but it takes about an hour and a half to make each toy, so they’ve added a disclaimer on their website notifying people about a slower-than-usual turnaround time.

The non-profit relies on donations and discounted materials to help keep costs down.

The Walls say their mission is to give back, and they’ll continue to do so.

“Somebody has helped us throughout every stage of our lives, and now it’s our turn to be able to help others,” Vincent said.
