The Diversity Initiatives and Resource Centers in the Pollak Library at Cal State Fullerton invites the campus community to the naming of its newest community space, the Dippel Cochran Brave Space. The event will take place March 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the Pollak Library, Room 180.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Diversity Initiatives and Resource Centers provide inclusive spaces that foster a sense of belonging for all students and champion student success across campus. <\/p>\n

The Dippel Cochran Brave Space will honor the lasting legacy of Gene Dippel, associate vice president emeritus of information and telecommunication services, and his partner Ray Cochran, a CSUF alum. Through their generous planned gift to the Losquadro Keller LGBTQ Resource Center, Dippel and Cochran have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to supporting students and fostering a campus environment rooted in identity, belonging and inclusion.<\/p>\n

DIRC is home to eight identity-based resource centers, including the African American Resource Center, Asian and Pacific American Resource Center, Latinx Community Resource Center, Losquadro Keller LGBTQ Resource Center, Titan Dreamers Resource Center, Women\u2019s Resource Center, Southwest Asian and North African Resource Center, and the Native American and Indigenous Resource Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n
