Arnold Schwarzenegger, along with athletes, politicians and America\u2019s first all-women mariachi ensemble.<\/p>\n<p>The California Museum, Gov. Gavin Newsom and First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom announced the 19th class of the hall of fame on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year\u2019s class embodies the very best of California \u2014 creativity, resilience, and a spirit of community,\u201d Newsom said in the announcement. \u201cThese honorees remind us that innovation and courage flourish when people are lifted up by those around them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The California Hall of Fame was launched in 2006 and recognizes history-making Californians \u201cwho embody the state\u2019s spirit of innovation and have changed the state, the nation, and the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The inductees will be honored in a ceremony at the California Museum at 1020 O St. in Sacramento on March 19.<\/p>\n<p>                                                                                                                                                                                                              <img class=\"responsive-image\" width=\"1140\" height=\"747\"  alt=\"Senate President Pro Tem John Burton talks to reporters outside the Assembly chambers at the state Capitol on 2003. He also was chair of the Democratic Party in California. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sacbee.com\/news\/politics-government\/capitol-alert\/article312011758.html\">He died in 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie Lee Curtis: An Academy Award winner, Curtis has a five-decade Hollywood career. She also has won an Emmy and Golden Globes Award.<\/p>\n<p>Riane Eisler: A pioneering systems scientist, Eisler is the author of the international bestseller \u201cThe Chalice and the Blade.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Janet Evans: Evans, an Olympic swimmer, won four individual gold medals.
