Jonathan Drouin joined the Islanders on the ice at their first practice in\u00a0Anaheim,\u00a0California\u00a0on Tuesday. Drouin missed Sunday\u2019s game with a lower-body injury.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The first-year Islander has 20 points (3G, 17A) in 53 games this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
PULOCK TAKES MAINTENANCE DAY\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ryan\u00a0Pulock\u00a0(maintenance) missed the team\u2019s practice in Anaheim on\u00a0Tuesday.\u00a0Scott Mayfield jumped up to pair with Matthew Schaefer, while Adam\u00a0Boqvist\u00a0skated in a pair with Carson Soucy.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Pulock\u00a0earned an assist in the 5-4 win over the Panthers on Sunday night.\u00a0He is one goal (56) away from tying Kenny Jonsson\u00a0(57) for the third most goals by a defenseman in Islanders history.\u00a0<\/p>\n
RITTICH TO START AGAINST THE DUCKS\u00a0<\/p>\n
Head Coach Patrick Roy confirmed that David\u00a0Rittich\u00a0will start\u00a0between the pipes for the second straight game\u00a0against the Ducks on Wednesday night.\u00a0Rittich\u00a0made 31 saves on 33 shots in New York\u2019s 5-2 win over Anaheim earlier in the season.\u00a0He\u00a0is 13-8-3 this season with a 2.63\u00a0GAA and a .899 SV along with two shutouts.\u00a0<\/p>\n
