Adell made significant strides in 2025 and became an excellent source of power, smacking 37 long balls paired with a 17.2 percent barrel rate. This marked his second year of arbitration eligibility, and he’s set for a raise of $3.1 million relative to last year.<\/p>\n
Adell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday’s 9-4 loss to the Royals. Adell had been in a slump lately, going 4-for-33 with just one RBI and 10 strikeouts over his previous nine games. The outfielder broke out of the power drought with his solo shot in the second inning. He’s up to 37 homers on the year while adding a .237\/.296\/.490 slash line, 97 RBI, 62 runs scored and five stolen bases over 149 contests.<\/p>\n

Adell has battled vertigo over the last week, but it’s a positive sign he was able to play the full game in right field after appearing off the bench Friday.
