Taking over the Postscript Cafe space, the deli serves an array of bagels and sandwiches, along with grain bowls, salads, soups, and dumplings. This is the third location of the deli, and the first in San Francisco. 499 Jackson Street, San Francisco<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">UNION SQUARE \u2014 Shoppers can load up on coffee while visiting the retail space for luxury consignment brand The RealReal, thanks to coffee partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paintedleopard.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Painted Leopard<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/sfstandard.com\/2026\/03\/03\/painted-leopard-opening-union-square\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">San Francisco Standard<\/a> reports. Painted Leopard serves El Salvador coffee, and previously functioned as a pop-up before making the leap to this Union Square setup. The cafe is open on weekends with a limited menu of pour-overs and cold brew, but will expand its hours to seven days a week in early April, adding rotating specialty coffee. 253 Post Street, San Francisco<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">NOB HILL \u2014 Nob Hill restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehuntingtonhotel.com\/the-big-four\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Big Four<\/a> returns after a long slumber, revived six years after its closure in 2020. Part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehuntingtonhotel.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Huntington Hotel<\/a>, both the restaurant and building have undergone a transformation thanks to designer Ken Fulk, with the Big Four returning on Tuesday, March 17. (The hotel is open as of Sunday, March 1.) This year marks the restaurant\u2019s 50th anniversary, and it opens with chef David Intonato serving dishes such as chicken pot pie and crab Louie, per the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/food\/restaurants\/article\/big-four-huntington-hotel-reopening-21927049.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">San Francisco Chronicle<\/a>. 1075 California Street, San Francisco<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">DESIGN DISTRICT \u2014 Chef David Barzelay and partner Colleen Booth of Lazy Bear open <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joujousf.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">JouJou<\/a> as of Friday, March 6. The restaurant is designed to look like \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/sf.eater.com\/restaurant-news\/211542\/joujou-restaurant-opening-san-francisco\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a Belle \u00c9poque resort on the French Riviera, but renovated in the sleazy \u201970s<\/a>,\u201d per Barzelay, and JouJou serves French classics with a bent on seafood, such as a French omelet with Dungeness crab, bay shrimp, and lobster, or toast with green garlic and snail butter. A raw bar adds to the scene with seafood towers and shellfish. 65 Division Street, San Francisco<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">BERKELEY \u2014 Emmanuel Galvan of pop-up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bolitamasa.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bolita Masa<\/a> opened his restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cafebolita.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cafe Bolita<\/a> in Berkeley, debuting on Friday, February 27, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/food\/restaurants\/article\/cafe-bolita-opening-berkeley-21939602.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">San Francisco Chronicle<\/a> reports. The restaurant will focus on nixtamalization, placing masa in the spotlight in various forms, such as tetelas, tamales, and quesadillas.
