While Anaheim<\/a>‘s win against Savanna<\/a> wasn’t quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Colonists skirted past the Rebels 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Colonists as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.<\/p>\n

Anaheim was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 22-25, 25-23, 16-14.<\/p>\n

Tyler Nguyen<\/a> and Arden Pheng<\/a> certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Nguyen had 12 digs, two aces, and one block, while Pheng had 21 digs. Nguyen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he’s now had 12 or more in each of the last three games he’s played.<\/p>\n

The win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Savanna, they now have a losing record of 3-4.<\/p>\n

Coming up, Anaheim will take on Santa Ana Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Savanna, they will head out on the road to square off against Buena Park at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.<\/p>\n
