The 4-item Sip &amp; Savor pass costs $34 with no AP discount available.<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t have to buy your food at the booth where it\u2019s served. The best bet is to figure out everything you want to eat and order it all at once from the register stand with the shortest line. (Photo by Jeff Gritchen, Orange County Register\/SCNG)<br \/>\n2) Torta Ahogada<\/p>\n<p>Mercado de Antojos<\/p>\n<p>Braised pork carnitas, frijoles charros, pickled onion and salsa<\/p>\n<p>The Torta Ahogada is a signature \u201cdrowned sandwich\u201d from Guadalajara that looked like a wet burrito even though it was built like a sandwich.<\/p>\n<p>There was no way I could have eaten this with my hands. It\u2019s a fork-and-knife dish all the way.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t too soggy for a wet item even though the bread was soaked in spicy salsa sauce.<\/p>\n<p>You could easily make a meal out of the torta \u2014 unlike most of the other Sip &amp; Savor items that are meant for sampling and strolling.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyautosizes lazyload\" alt=\"Pork Chile Verde Chalupas; a chalupas filled with pork in salsa verde, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo and queso fresco served with Spanish rice and refried beans topped with queso fresco at Paradise Garden Grill in Paradise Garden during the California Food &amp; Wine Festival inside California Adventure running March 6 through April 27, 2026. (Photo by Jeff Gritchen, Orange County Register\/SCNG)<br \/>\n3) Pork Chile Verde Chalupa<\/p>\n<p>Paradise Garden Grill<\/p>\n<p>Chalupa filled with pork in salsa verde, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo and queso fresco<\/p>\n<p>There was no surprise twist here with this traditional Mexican snack served on a deep-fried masa dough \u201cboat\u201d \u2014 which chalupa translates to. Just a great chalupa with a nice texture to the chalupa shell and tasty green chile salsa on the pulled pork.<\/p>\n<p>The chalupa was about the size of a street taco with maybe three or four bites.<\/p>\n<p>Paradise Garden Grill sells a meal-size version with rice and beans if you want more than one chalupa, but that\u2019s not available with the Sip &amp; Savor pass.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyautosizes lazyload\" alt=\"Strawberry Guava Lemonade; Simply Lemonade, strawberry pur\u00e9e and guava syrup topped with vanilla cream and freeze-dried strawberries at the Peppers Cali-Ente festival marketplace food booth during the California Food &amp; Wine Festival inside California Adventure running March 6 through April 27, 2026.
