The Los Angeles Angels have named long time executive Molly Jolly as the club\u2019s next president, while former president John Carpino prepares to step aside after more than two decades with the organization.<\/p>\n
Jolly, who has been with the Angels for 26 years and currently serves as the Angels\u2019 senior vice president of finance and administration, will take over the role April 6, becoming the ninth president in franchise history and the first woman to hold the position.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Jolly will be responsible for overseeing the club\u2019s day-to-day business operations, including marketing, communications, revenue strategy, and facility management at Angel Stadium.<\/p>\n
Carpino will remain with the team to help with the transition and special projects.<\/p>\n
