Police investigate a two-vehicle collision on Brawley Avenue, just south of Ashlan in Fresno, California on Saturday, March 7, 2026.<\/p>\n

A two-vehicle collision led to a subsequent crash involving a third car on Saturday morning in Fresno.<\/p>\n

Police said the initial crash happened at 11:19 a.m. when a black Dodge van and a white Chevrolet SUV were traveling eastbound on Ashlan Avenue from Cornelia.<\/p>\n

Police said the Dodge van changed lanes and struck the Chevrolet SUV.<\/p>\n

Following the crash, a verbal disturbance reportedly occurred between the two drivers. During the confrontation, the driver of the Dodge van left the scene, turning southbound onto Brawley Avenue, police said.<\/p>\n

As the situation unfolded, a third vehicle \u2014 a Toyota Prius \u2014 swerved and struck a nearby AT&T utility pole.<\/p>\n

Police reported no ejections or injuries in any of the incidents.<\/p>\n

Police later identified the driver of the Dodge van and issued citations for misdemeanor hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.<\/p>\n

The investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n
