Katella<\/a> had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Anaheim<\/a> on Thursday. The Knights blew past the Colonists 15-6. For those keeping track at home, that’s the biggest victory the Knights have posted against the Colonists since April 10, 2018.<\/p>\n Dani Neville<\/a> spent all seven innings on the mound, and it’s clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.<\/p>\n At the plate, Katella got a massive performance out of Nataly Rodarte<\/a>, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackie Morelos<\/a>, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.<\/p>\n Katella always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. The team’s really been improving in that area: they’ve now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.<\/p>\n Katella now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Anaheim, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.<\/p>\n Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Katella will head out to square off against Valencia at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anaheim, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Ocean View at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
