The Ducks (35-24-3) seek their third straight win as they welcome the Blues (24-29-9) to Honda Center before hitting the road on a four-game trip.<\/p>\n

Tonight is the fourth annual Women in Sports Night\u00a0celebration for Anaheim. Presented by Columbia Bank,\u00a0the team will host a mixer before puck drop\u00a0to connect with professionals from the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego Gulls, Honda Center,\u00a0and OCVIBE.<\/p>\n
Anaheim\u00a0got its 19th\u00a0comeback win of the season, beating the Canadiens 6-5 in shootouts on Friday.\u00a0It was good for the\u00a0Ducks\u2019 fifth comeback win in the last six games\u00a0and moved the team back into first in the Pacific Division\u00a0with 73 points.<\/p>\n
Heading into tonight, the Ducks are one point ahead of Vegasand five points ahead of Edmonton.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Against the Habs,\u00a0Chris Kreider\u00a0scored the game-tying goal in the third period and\u00a0had four points\u00a0on the night\u00a0(one goal and three assists)\u00a0while Cutter Gauthier and Alex Killorn scored in the shooutout.\u00a0Lukas Dostal stopped 23 shouts in regulation and overtime and is 12-2-0 in his last 14 outings.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s good to come up with two points,\u201d Kreider said. \u201cI\u00a0think that’s one of those games coaches don’t enjoy but fans do, right?” Kreider said. “So, exciting game, but some things we can definitely do better going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
All of the goals the Ducks scored\u00a0came courtesy of\u00a0different players\u00a0showcasing how diverse\u00a0their scoring attack can be and how key it is to get multiple players involved in the final stretch of the season.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere’s just a lot of young talent in the room,” Kreider said. “A lot of guys who have game-breaking skill and do stuff that, honestly, I’ve never seen before. At any point in time, those guys can break out and score goals.\u201d<\/p>\n
While it remains to be seen if he\u2019ll suit up tonight, newly acquired\u00a0Duck\u00a0John Carlson\u00a0joined his team for practice yesterday.\u00a0With 10 goals on the season, he becomes the ninth Ducks player to have double-digital goals on the year.<\/p>\n
Though they\u2019re currently out of playoff positioning, the Blues come into this game on a three-game winning streak of their own.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The team beat the Sharks on Friday in a\u00a03-2 overtime win.Robert Thomas\u00a0had two goals in the win, including the score in overtime, and currently leads the team\u00a0with 39 points.<\/p>\n
This is the second of three matchups between the teams this season.
